Tonbridge, Paddock Wood and Tunbridge Wells railway stations provide the most frequent services between London Charring Cross, Dover and Hastings. Paddock Wood is the closest station if travelling by taxi and also has a greater number of buses going to our nearest village of Matfield (1.5 miles). If travelling from France via the Channel Tunnel, change stations at Ashford for a direct connection to Paddock Wood (as the Eurostar is direct to London Charing Cross!). A taxi from Paddock Wood should cost approximately £7 to £10. If travelling from Gatwick airport take a train direct to Tonbridge via Redhill. For all other airport connections it is best to go by road or via London.
The international airports of Gatwick (about 45 minutes), Stansted (about 1hr) and Heathrow (1.5hrs) are all easily accessible via the M25.
The ports of Dover, Folkestone, Ramsgate are very close by for cross channel ferries (about 1.5 hrs). Portsmouth is about 2hrs drive for the longer ferry crossings.
