Rented Accommodation

The Cryals Estate offers a beautiful and diverse choice of rented accommodation, from period barn conversions to typical Kentish farm cottages. Our properties are available to rent on a 6 month Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement, but we encourage residents to stay for as long as they wish. The properties enjoy access to the 120 acre estate and are all located in the heart of our working fruit farm. All of our properties have central heating and low maintenance gardens of varying sizes. The farm itself is also open to residents as a fully maintained orchard garden, perfect for long walks, picnics and bike rides. Our homes

All of our homes are situated in the grounds of our beautiful working apple farm, looking out over the surrounding countryside with views stretching to the villages of Matfield, Brenchley, Horsmonden and Goudhurst, yet within 10 minutes easy drive of Tunbridge Wells and Paddock Wood. In addition to individual gardens, all farm residents enjoy unlimited access to all the orchards for walking, cycling, picnics, running or just to enjoy the peace of the land and the smell of the fresh air.

All the properties are cared for and managed by the farm and are let on an Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement. However at Cryals Farm 6 months has a funny habit of turning into 6 years and that's fine with us! 1 + 2 New Cottages

3 bedrooms; attractive sitting room with separate dining room; fitted kitchen; gas central heating; fabulous views all round over orchards and pasture. Large country garden surrounded by established beech hedge.

1 + 2 Old Cottages

Pair of tall character Victorian cottages on three floors with newly fitted kitchens and bathrooms; 3 bedrooms - one very large at top of house. Situated in the heart of the farm overlooking orchards, ponds and reservoirs with views to Brenchley. Oak beamed & tiled garage with storage area for fire logs. Duck pond with gazebo and Spring bulbs at front of house. Large garden at rear looking out over reservoirs and apple orchards.

1, 2 and 3 Cryals Place

Newly converted apple barn comprising 3 high spec 2 and 3 large bedroom houses. Large entrance halls and understairs storage, polished wooden floors throughout; open plan sitting rooms with fully fitted kitchens and French windows leading onto secluded patios. Spacious en suite master bedrooms (separate bath and shower cubicle); large family bathrooms with separate WCs. Scullery; integral garages; parking and gardens to front; patio gardens to rear surrounded by open meadow and farm land.

The Threshing Barn

Beautiful large character converted corn threshing barn dating from 1850 with exposed beams and galleried landing. Situated in heart of the farm with 4 large bedrooms, 2 upstairs bathrooms (one en suite). Large entrance hall, polished wooden floors throughout. Fully fitted kitchen with tiled floor. Large living area with inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove. Separate spacious dining room, downstairs cloakroom and under stairs storage. Easily maintained garden with views over apple orchards. Double garage and parking to the side with wooden gated driveway.

The Old Forge

original farm forge with stunning exposed beams now converted into a stylish and secluded home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms (Master with large en suite); open plan living and dining room with double fronted wood burning stove. Fully fitted kitchen. All on one level with original Kent tiled pitched roof.

Getting to work or school or just your bearings

The Country Estate is ideally located within the heart of the South East, only one and a half miles from the villages of Matfield and Brenchley, three miles from Royal Tunbridge Wells and Paddock Wood, and 5 miles from Tonbridge. All three towns offer regular train services to London Charing Cross / Victoria / Canon Street (45 minutes), Hastings, Ashford International and Dover. The airports of Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted are easily accessible via the A21 and M25, as are major routes to London, the North and the South West.

The area is fortunate to have some of the most acclaimed grammar, prep and public schools in the country. Being well within the commuter belt for the capital, the area can suit both the country dweller and the city lover.
